My First Mobile Post

This is where I am right now. It’s a water park in Atlixco, about 20 minutes outside of Puebla. I can’t remember the name of the place, but they have a strange cartoon aligaror for a mascot.
It’s cloudy enough that there’s barely anybody here, but warm enough that it’s comfortable for a Canadian.

Pobre Bunnies…

In my last post, I totally forgot to mention that the whole reason I ran across the I Love Alaska series earlier this year was because of another film that Sander Plug and Lernert Engelberts directed, Chocolade Haas. And, here it is:

I Love Alaska

Today, my friend Val posted about interesting search terms that brought them to her blog, including “art therapy rain cloud.”
Unfortunately, there aren’t really any good search terms bringing people to my blog – the most exciting are probably “shipping container mall puebla mexico” and “porta garrafon.” Though, if I include the last two years, and [...]

Scott Baio in Mexico

Scott Baio has taken a youth serum and has rejuvenated his career on telenovelas here in Mexico.

And, in motion.

Død Snø

Okay, this has nothing at all to do with Mexico, but Død Snø looks to be the best Norwegian snow-bound, Nazi, zombie, slasher flick ever made, in the history of mankind.

This is what I look like in Mexico

Container City

The other day, Rosy took me to a going away party for a friend of hers, in Cholula – Puebla’s Burnaby. Okay, not really Puebla’s Burnaby… It’s only Puebla’s Burnaby because it’s right next door. Other than that, it’s totally different – I mean, it’s got its own ancient pyramid. And 365 churches.
However, like Burnaby, [...]

Mexican Engagement

Okay, just so you don’t get thinking about something that isn’t – no, I’m not engaged.
But, on Saturday, I did go to an engagement. Read that again. An engagement. Not an engagement party. An engagement – though, it did turn into an engagement.
If anybody wants any ideas about how to pop the question, read on.
On [...]

Mi Primero Post

So, I’ve moved to Mexico, and I’ve been here for about 3 weeks now. And, many people have been asking for a lot of the same sorts of things – especially pictures of my new home. So, I figured I would revamp this extremely unused and out-of-date [it was previously a portfolio that was probably [...]
